Workshops

What is a workshop?

Well in the context we are talking about, a workshop is a period of focussed time with a theoretical and practical aspect. During the workshop you will be given focussed training with the intention being that you gain the skills and knowledge you need to get the results you want.

Preparing for a workshop

Before any workshop you should think about what you want to get out of the workshop, try and come up with a few key things, and if possible have practical realistic achievable goals – the type of goals that you can measure and easily see if its been achieved.

You should discuss these goals with the workshop organiser.

The Night before..

Double check the location of the workshop, the time of the workshop, your contact details for the workshop, any essential things for you to bring and your travel arrangements.

Prepare your clothes and bag, so that you can get up ready to go.

Fix your alarm and get an early night.

This may sound simplistic but you want to get the best from the workshop, and ensuring you’re rested and ready to go and having an easy fun time is the best start you can give yourself.

At the workshop

Introduce yourself to people, be friendly, ask questions – no matter how silly you think they are – now is the time to ask questions after all, get email/contact details of poeple you connect with above everything.. have fun!
